ABOUT US / OUR APPROACH / RESOURCING CASES
We pay particular attention to resourcing cases and will field a team to suit the needs of the case. Our aim is to ensure that work is done at the right level.
Throughout the Ince network we regard ourselves as one big team. The way we work ensures that we don’t over-resource cases. Equally and where a case requires it, we put together teams drawn from across the firm’s international network to provide clients with the appropriate depth and range of our expertise
On every matter there is always at least one partner with an overview of the case, who understands the legal and technical issues and can see them in the context of the client’s business. For larger cases we adopt a pyramid structure, with a partner supervising one or more assistants, who in turn delegate to paralegals and trainees.
It was this approach that led Chambers & Partners’ guide in 2006 to quote an independent source: “Some firms throw teams at matters without thinking of the value to the client … whereas Ince partners really think about the work they do and don’t milk it.”
