Getting the Deal Through - 2011
Friday 22 October, 2010

Ince & Co partner Jonathan Lux continues as Contributing Editor for ‘Getting the Deal Through – Shipping 2011’. The new edition provides information and analysis on key areas of maritime law and is intended as a guide for corporate counsel, cross-border practitioners and business people.

Leading law firms from 35 countries offer guidance on the same key topics, answering questions to highlight how different jurisdictions approach shipping law. Topics covered by the publication include newbuilding contracts; ship registration and mortgages; limitation of liability; port state control; ship arrest; collision, salvage, wreck removal and pollution; carriage of goods and bills of lading; jurisdiction and dispute resolution.

Ince & Co contributed four chapters to this edition: England & Wales, Greece and the United Arab Emirates, written by partners Jonathan Lux in London, George Iatridis in Greece, Max Cross in Hong Kong and Bob Deering in Dubai, together with colleagues in each office.
