Getting the Deal Through – Shipping 2009
Thursday 01 January, 2009
Ince & Co partner Jonathan Lux was Contributing Editor for ‘Getting the Deal Through – Shipping 2009’, a series of reports published in September 2008 designed to help general counsel, government agencies and private practice lawyers successfully navigate increasingly complex shipping laws around the world.
Leading law firms from 30 countries gave guidance on the same key topics, answering questions to highlight how different jurisdictions approach shipping law. Topics for this edition include newbuilding contracts, ship registration and mortgages, limitation of liability, port state control, ship arrest, jurisdiction and dispute resolution.
Ince & Co was pleased to contribute to four chapters in this edition, covering China, England & Wales, Greece and Hong Kong. Partners who contributed include Paul Ho, Antonis Lagadianos, Robin Parry and Max Cross.
