New Partner Boost for Ince & Co’s Insurance practice

The insurance and reinsurance group at international law firm Ince & Co is boosted today with the arrival of partner Nilam Sharma in the firm’s London office.

Qualified in both the UK and US, Nilam’s practice focuses on financial lines, directors and officers, and management liability, covering both insurance and reinsurance matters for domestic and international clients. She represents London Market, US, Bermudian and Indian insurers and reinsurers in policy coverage disputes. Nilam joins with the backing of Crowell & Moring, where she was a partner in London, to enable her to work with the support of a larger team in London.

Chris Jefferis, global head of Ince & Co’s insurance and reinsurance group, said: “Nilam brings a new dimension to our professional liability practice and, together with our existing professional liability team, will add value to our clients’ businesses. This appointment comes just four months after Nick Gibbons joined the group as a partner, adding specialist expertise in the TMT sector.”

Nilam Sharma commented: “ I have had the pleasure of working alongside Ince & Co on numerous occasions in the past and have always considered them a natural fit. I am looking forward to playing a significant role in the development of the firm’s insurance and reinsurance practice.”
