New Business and Finance specialist for Ince & Co Singapore

Ince & Co has recruited senior lawyer Kunal Kapoor, boosting the firm's Business & Finance practice in Singapore.
Kunal is a Solicitor in England and Wales and is admitted to the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in India.
Kunal, who has close relationships with leading Indian and international shipowners and banks, has extensive expertise in shipping finance, project finance, shipping and the energy and offshore oil and gas sectors. He also specialises in mergers and acquisitions and in general corporate work, having worked closely with a number of multinational companies.
In addition, he has broad experience advising on contentious matters, including ship arrests, invocation of international bank guarantees, and joint venture disputes.
Kunal will be working with Martin Brown, head of Business & Finance at Ince & Co Singapore, in the firm's expanding Business & Finance division. Martin Brown said: “It is an excellent time for Kunal to join us, at a time when we are expanding our presence here in Asia and in Singapore as an International Maritime Centre in particular. With his strong background, varied experience and excellent reputation in both the Singapore and India markets, Kunal is a key addition to our team”.

Prior to joining Ince & Co, Kunal was with a leading law firm in Mumbai, India. He has led teams on domestic and cross borders transactions. He has also advised on all types of syndicated and structured financings, leasing, multi-jurisdictional sale and purchase transactions, building contracts, tax structuring and project contracts.
