UAE National and Ince & Co secondee qualifies in England and Wales
Thursday 01 July, 2010

In Dubai, UAE National Mona al Sayegh has qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Mona was seconded to Ince & Co from Emirates in 2008 and spent time in the firm's offices in London and Dubai. Whilst on secondment at Ince she successfully completed her training contract and has been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales. Mona is one of only a very few UAE Nationals to have qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Mona is now back working for Emirates as a legal support services manager as part of their 12-strong legal team.

Ince Dubai handles contentious and non-contentious matters on a local, regional and international scale, advising clients in the areas of aviation, arbitration, business & finance, construction, energy & offshore, insurance & reinsurance, international trade, litigation, mediation and shipping. Whilst on secondment Mona gained experience in each of these areas.

Commenting on Mona's achievement, Ince Dubai Managing partner Bob Deering said: “It was a pleasure to have Mona with us for the period of her training contract and help her become English qualified. She was a valued part of the team during her time at Ince Dubai and we wish her every success now that she is back at Emirates.”
