Prior to joining Ince & Co in 2009, Alex worked within the corporate department of a major City law firm specialising in insurance matters.
The insurance industry features heavily in Alex’s background. He worked as an aviation broker at Marsh prior to training as a solicitor and was seconded to Cardif Pinnacle (a subsidiary of BNP Paribas Assurance) before joining Ince & Co.
Alex is a member of the firm's insurance business group, specialising in corporate, regulatory and general commercial matters.
His experience includes corporate transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets and reorganisations. Alex also regularly advises members of the insurance industry on regulatory and general commercial matters such as FSA related issues and the drafting of policy/contractual documentation.
In addition to his non-contentious practice at Ince, Alex advises clients on a variety of contentious matters. His insurance background enables him to draw on his commercial understanding of the industry when assisting clients to achieve their objectives.
