James Drummond spent eight years at sea with the Royal Navy, specialising in navigation and pilotage, before coming ashore in 1996 to join the operations and claims department of a large London shipowner.
During the following seven years, James was involved with the commercial management of both tanker and dry cargo vessels and qualified as a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS).
James joined the Admiralty department of Ince & Co in London in 2003 and relocated to our Singapore office in 2006. He has travelled on a wide range of collision, grounding, salvage and unsafe port casualties as a member of Ince's international emergency response team.
