Jan-Niklaas joined Ince Hamburg as a trainee lawyer in 2008. He qualified as a German Rechtsanwalt in 2010.
His practice covers all aspects of dry shipping, specialising in charterparties, P&I and marine insurance as well as commercial disputes and arrests. He also advises clients on the sale and purchase of newbuildings and second hand tonnage.
Jan-Niklaas obtained a Master's degree in shipping law at Prof. John Hare's shipping law department at the University of Cape Town.
