Jeremy regularly represents shipping clients in London arbitrations (LMAA, ICC, LCIA and ad-hoc arbitrations) and the English High Court, as well as in multi-jurisdictional disputes involving connected proceedings in different countries.
Jeremy also advises clients on non-contentious issues in relation to the above areas, in particular advice and assistance with drafting of Charterparty terms, Shipbuilding contracts, Sale and Purchase, Joint Venture agreements, Shipmanagement and Shipbroking contracts, Commission agreements, and Pooling agreements.

Jeremy acts for a number of commodity trading companies on all aspects of the sale and transportation of coal, steel, metals, soft commodities, crude oil, refined products and gas.
He has dealt with numerous trade disputes including contamination, shortage and late delivery claims. Jeremy has experience of handling international trade arbitrations, including GAFTA and FOSFA.
Jeremy's litigation practice extends to acting for a wide range of clients in relation to general commercial disputes, whether connected with the maritime/transportation business or otherwise.
He has handled a variety of disputes in High Court and arbitration proceedings, including acting for private individuals, trading houses, distributers and joint venture partners.
