Qualified in England & Wales, Juan joined Ince & Co in 2006, having previously qualified in the US and practised there as a litigator and advocate. He advises clients in the shipping, energy and insurance sectors on contracts and disputes.
Juan's non-contentious practice comprises drafting and negotiating terms of asset sales and joint ventures with upstream contractors. His contentious practice includes arbitration in London and litigation in the English courts under charterparties, ship management contracts and reinsurance.
As a Spanish speaker, Juan works alongside local counsel and in-house lawyers in Latin America, as well as Spanish-speaking witnesses and experts.
