Matthew joined Ince & Co's admiralty practice in London in 2010 and, as a member of the firm's international emergency response team, he is primarily involved in the investigation and handling of casualties worldwide.
Matthew began his career at sea with James Fisher, working on coastal product tankers trading between UK and Europe. In 2003 he began working for Shell, gaining experience on VLCCs, product tankers and LNG carriers. Before joining Ince, Matthew served as Chief Officer for a year on LNG carriers. Matthew has a bachelors degree in Nautical Science (BSc) from the university of Middlesex.
Matthew travels widely on a variety of matters including collisions, groundings, salvage, fire and pollution incidents.
