Michael's practice is primarily focused on the negotiation of shipbuilding contracts, long term contracts of affreightment and charterparties, as well as the resolution of disputes in these fields.
In addition he has considerable experience in the negotiation of ship owners' finance arrangements and in the resolution of ship finance problems and workouts generally.
Michael acts for a number of leading owners in specialist trades, ranging from LNG through to paper carriers, and has advised extensively on the chartering, building and financing arrangements required in such trades.
