Master Mariner Stuart Francis joined Ince & Co's admiralty practice in London in 2000 and has been involved in the investigation and handling of casualties worldwide.
He spent 20 years at sea including six years as Master on deep-sea vessels of all types before coming ashore in 1998 to work for another admiralty law firm.
Stuart has been at Ince's Pireaus office since 2004 and, as a member of the firm's international emergency response team, travels widely on a variety of collisions, grounding and salvage casualties. He also deals with shipboard fires, total loss and unsafe port claims. Stuart is a member of the Nautical Institute and Royal Institute of Navigators.
