Volker joined Ince Hamburg as a trainee lawyer and qualified as a German Rechtsanwalt in 2006. He has a Master’s degree in shipping law from the University of Cape Town.
His litigation practice covers matters relating to dry shipping, admiralty and yachting. He specialises in cargo and charterparty claims. He assisted in setting up the firm's yacht practice. Having spent a considerable time of his legal training in Portugal and Brazil, Volker speaks Portuguese, German and English.
