Ince & Co is renowned for its first class litigation practice. The majority of our work concerns commercial disputes. More than 80 of our partners and 150 associates specialise in contentious matters.
If litigation is in the interests of our clients our flexible internal structure, combined with our long standing experience, enables us to handle cases effectively. Where required we are able to assemble large teams early and, due to our international reach, can configure teams quickly for cross-jurisdictional disputes.
The firm has been involved in many ground-breaking court cases that have made new law. We are one of the largest users of the English Commercial Court, to which many English law commercial cases are referred. For several years the firm has been a member of the key Commercial Court Users’ Committee. We also regularly appear in the appellate courts,where we have an enviable record of success. According to a recent survey carried out by the UK legal journal The Lawyer, we achieved an 85% success rate in the Court of Appeal.
Internationally we have rights of audience in the Courts of France, Germany, Greece and Hong Kong and regularly manage litigation in many other jurisdictions.
