Ince & Co provides legal services to yacht owners, charterers, managers, lenders, insurers, brokers, designers or builders – whatever the size or type of craft - from sailing craft to the biggest superyachts.
Our yacht lawyers advise on new building projects, the sale and purchase of second-hand yachts, financing, registration, tax and customs matters, statutory compliance, commercial management and operation, insurance, sponsorship, crewing and chartering. In addition, our team advises on the drafting and negotiation of design, building and repair contracts for yachts.
In the event of disputes, Ince provides its clients with our full range of litigation, arbitration and mediation expertise. In the event of a casualty, our international emergency response team is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The firm is a corporate member of the British Marine Federation, the Professional Yachtsmen's Association and Deutsche Yachten and one of our partners sits on the committee of Superyacht UK. Several of our lawyers are members of the Royal Yachting Association.
In addition, this year, Ince & Co is very pleased to be one of the sponsors of the Pendennis Cup, which takes place, as on the previous two occasions, in Falmouth, Cornwall 2-7 July. It will be the biggest large yacht regatta in the UK in recent years and is held every other year. 14 yachts are confirmed so far.
