Anjlee Patel, Marketing Administrator 

Anjlee PatelI  joined Ince & Co in 2007 after graduating from the University of Leicester in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Management Studies and Marketing, before taking some time out to go travelling. Once I arrived back, I applied for a marketing administrator position at Ince & Co following a six month position in the marketing department at a healthcare company.


Initially, I was providing general administrative support to the head of marketing, working with the rest of the team and helping to organise the marketing department.

Within a short period of time the director of marketing encouraged me to take on extra responsibilities, one such event was arranging a seminar on behalf of a partner in Mumbai, India. I handled the logistics from inception to execution and was responsible for ensuring the whole thing ran smoothly. This was a fantastic opportunity for me as well as giving me the chance to travel to India to oversee the event. Ince has been a great place for me to learn about the marketing industry, develop key skills and understand how an international law firm in the city operates.

There are plenty of opportunities for growth here at Ince. I’m considering applying for a Diploma with the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing), and I know the firm is right behind me. I’ve also taken advantage of training opportunities through seminars and ‘webinars’.

The culture here is very supportive, I work within a great a team of nine where everyone pitches in. The network here allows you to interact with the other departments and there are a number of social events which take place through the year so you always feel involved and meet people right across the firm, its almost like being part of a large family.
