Ince & Co has once again been named as one of the Best Legal Employers by Legal Week.
In order to qualify for the quality mark, law firms must perform strongly in Legal Week's flagship Employee Satisfaction Report and agree to work with Legal Week's research arm, Legal Week Intelligence, to ensure they make full use of the research in order to continue to improve their employee satisfaction levels.
The independent report is based on feedback from more than 4,000 assistant and associate solicitors working at the UK's leading firms. It ranks more than 50 firms across a range of performance measures including quality of work, work/life balance, salary and bonus.
Ince & Co takes seventh place out of the 58 firms included in 2010’s report and ranks first for City firms. Ince & Co also had a very good year in 2009, taking 12th place overall and 3rd in London as best legal employer.
Ince came first equal on its facilities and second on reputation and second equal on quality of work. Comparing satisfaction and importance ratings for the 11 categories, Ince & Co comes far closer than the average firm to satisfying the importance ratings given. The firm is also above the average satisfaction score on all counts.
Ince & Co feels like a very safe place to work with employees feeling they are unlikely to be laid off. Ince lawyers are very likely to recommend their firm to a friend or colleague.
